MDE

MDE operates around the world with its workers funding humanitarian projects. Lately the Movement has been engaged in the construction of wells with a public fountain in a department of Cameroon; in providing various aids to the faculty of Medicine in Antsirànana of Madagascar; and in the reconstruction of wells in the department of Nkongsamba, a district of Cameroon. It is a gigantic work carried out in collaboration with Dehonian groups from Canada, Germany, many Italian and foreign parishes and private individuals. So far 211 villages in the district have drinking water service. Only 30 wells with respective fountains are missing for every village in the district to see assured drinking water service. The Movement has been working with a grant from the CEI-Charitable Office on behalf of Third World countries, which is managed by the Italian bishops, and with various contributions for the construction of more than 50 wells and fountains.
